This month we bring in the celebration of Love and the need for chocolate.  Or at least that is what I will be celebrating this month love and chocolate! I will have some fun recipes to share with you in the next few weeks and provide you with a few allergy free solutions to celebrate Valentine's Day safely.  This includes a special post on the SunButter Blog later this week with a Valentine's Day card your kids can make and give away. I know we will be making more of these to give away.
Today's recipe is a gluten free, dairy free, peanut free, egg free and corn free brownie.

1/2 cup applesauce
2 Tbs coconut oil
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cup white rice flour
1/3 cup tapioca flour
1/2 tsp baking soda

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper.

In a large sauce pan combine applesauce, coconut oil, sugar, salt, chocolate chips, vanilla, cocoa and water. Cook while stirring on low until the chocolate chips are melted. Remove from heat.  Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.  Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until done.

Let completely cool.  Remove brownie from pan by lifting out the parchment paper.  Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out individual heart shaped brownies.

Top with glaze and top with Valentine's sprinkles.  Package and give away to your loves!
