Party planning can be hard on it's own. Throw in a whole list of food allergies and the fun really begins.  Josi's 2nd Birthday a challenge and it all came together to be a ball of fun.  The party needed to be gluten free, diary free, egg free, berry free, peanut free, shellfish free and red40 free.

Today I am sharing with you our decorations and menu that made the party girl's day.  She asked for a Clifford party.  Thanks to PBS many of the downloads for the party were free including the color sheets.  For links to these downloads jump over to our Pinterest. (scroll down for the Clifford ideas and downloads)

Our Menu:

  • Tummy Yummy Sugar Cookies (recipe in Kid Approved)
  • Vegan Velvet Cupcakes (recipe in Kid Approved)
  • Puppy Chow made with SunButter (use recipe on Chex and substitute SunButter for peanut butter and use Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips, with coconut oil)
  • Juice Boxes
  • Fruit Bites

Decorations:
  • Yellow, Red and Blue crate paper (Dollar Tree)
  • Clifford wind chimes (pattern on our Pinterest)
  • Dog Houses and Lighthouse (made from boxes)
  • Pin the tag on Clifford
  • Clifford Banner made with circle printouts from Pinterest and glue on triangle
  • Red plastic table cloth (Dollar Tree)

Table Scape:

Yes steal our ideas and use them. I used tray's from Pamper Chef and a Martha Stewart cake stand.  The yellow plates are from the Dollar Tree along with the red napkins.  Pull out your good trays and serving plates they will make the table look better and raise the display. Always go with plastic clothes for the kids, easy clean up.

You can download and print the table tents and label for allergens too.

These dog bowls were made by my girls. Easy print out, cut and glue on paper red bowls.

Dog bone cookie cutter is from Amazon.  Great place to find any shape for a cookie cutter.

For games we had coloring, pin the tag on Clifford and freeze dance.

Plenty for a 2 hour party with her dance and library friends.

Wow this birthday party looks adorable!! You know my son loves these kinds of unique parties. On his 15th birthday I am planning to throw a unique bash at some outdoor New York venues. Will be using a mix of two or three superhero themes for this bash. Hope it would turn out to be an enjoyable day.
